Hi guys,
New to the forum and based in the West Midlands UK
Just changed my Spark for a gen 1 Air. and running FCC.
This question has probably already been answered elsewhere so if someone could just point me at an answer if possible.
I have the "Controller charging my android phone" problem.
I saw a thread showing that it can now be turned off in later models BUT since my Air is a Gen 1 it seems not?
Is there a solution to this PITA issue without rooting my phone to run an app?

TIA
Dave

I think it’s something you have to put up with on Android, it doesn't bother me, I can run three battery's & still have plenty charge in the controller.

Hi there, welcome to the forum ? :D

No, you can't do anything about it if using an Android device, this as the culprit are in Android & not in the DJI setup ... if using iOS the charging can be stopped though.

I'm flying a MA1 myself ... have a Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 or a Samsung Galaxy S8 as my view screens. Usually I have everything max charged when going out to fly ... my 4 batteries, the RC & the screen of choice. When all batteries are depleted to 15-30% my RC usually still have 2 solid leds to 2 solid & the third blinking. So having the RC charge my Android devices have never been a problem.
