Welcome to Mavic Pilots .Hi all, picked up my mavic last week and loving it.
Wanted to get quite a bit of flight time in before the new regulations come into effect.

What is the new regulation and when is affecting ?Hi all, picked up my mavic last week and loving it.

In the UK they are talking about new rules but there is no firm plan or date for it... basically any drone above 250g must be registered and the pilot will have to take an as yet undescribed "test". It doesn't sound too arduous and I am not sure it will ever happen. What is the new regulation and when is affecting ?
If you are going to carry out any flights you can register the area you will be operating at with dates, times and the grid reference to the RAF who will issue a NOTAM to relevant agencies. Their number is Low Flying Ops 0800 515 544.
