Are you going to run into limitations with the European drones ???
There are no europeans drones, all DJI drones are the same. A drone will activate anywhere, it will fly anywhere, it will accept any valid DJI account. The only difference is the warranty and Care but the drones all have the same parts and the same software.

Yes... They will have a 1 year warranty but it's important to understand that is for a manufacturing defect and has nothing to do with the more common run it into a tree or drop and break the gimble kind of problem. The biggest worry I have is no the cost of repair it is simply getting the replacement back if I do damage it. People are sending drones off for repair and then having them stuck in customs forever. I'll pay for my mistake if I break it but will it ever/even get back to me? I advise State Farm or other insurance as a way to get your money back so you can then order another from Adorama or something ;0. The caveat on that is once you use insurance like State Farm to replace your drone i'm told they will cancel you immediately :)...no..wait.... :(.
I had State Farm policy on my drones before there was Care Refresh. I continued the policy's even after .. 10 years.. One time disaster hit, they paid $1100 and canceled my policy. Also they will not give me new policy a few years later. It's one and done with them.
The didn't cancel me immediately. Once I got my check and I bought another drone and I added it back to St Farm successfully, a few months later they sent my money back with a "no thanks" note.

I know this thread is older but I just wanted to follow up that my drone is still in customs after being shipped out of Canada, where it's been held for the last month with no signs of being released as it appears to have been ceased.

I've given up on it and have to accept the loss of my $4500, have just ordered another from South Korea where they have a solid reputation of successfully delivering to the United States.

What a shame. I ordered then cancelled S Korea source. I was concerned about tariff and such. Trump just announced tariffs on S Korea and Japan but they won't take effect for a bit. Don't quite understand why drones from Korea get through but drones from Canada (sometimes) don't.

The government probably has a list of where DJI state-sponsored drones are coming from. This enemies list contains trade partners whom the government finds objectionable and that includes China and Canada and any other country that starts with a "C." Up until now, S. Korea has been our friend but lately their disdain for the comrades up north as well as them taking advantage of our free military protection for so many decades without gratitude has landed them on the unfriendlies list so you can expect "Korean" drones to be captured real soon and "Japanese" drones are not far behind.

Ebay is where I see the S Korea (lived there for a short while) sold. I've not seen any from Japan.

Here's a good example for a pretty good price, too.

Japan is 2nd because S. Korea but as soon as the S. Korean source dry up, Japan will kick into high gear followed by Vietnam one day. There's too much US demand for these drones willing to pay the higher prices for the US market to be ignored.

I picked up two spare batteries from a great seller in S. Korea, arrived in 4 days for a decent price. I'm at 5 batteries for right now, have one on backorder from Adorama that I doubt will ever be filled.
