Is there any notion of what the expanded feature list will be? It seems that waypoint support is a major item on many pilot's wish list.

Also, what are the chances of being able to upload a waypoint mission to the drone, rather than control it from the RC? I'm not quite up to speed yet on the differences here - assuming that "virtual sticks" means that the commands reside on the controller or attached mobile device and are sent to the drone via "virtual" stick movement, vs. uploading to the drone firmware and operating more directly within the drone itself. Is that a decent summary?

Seems the advantage of a more native mode is that the mission can continue if drone-resident and you lose connection to the RC, but the drone would RTH without completing the mission if its controlled from the RC. Correct?

The SDK (software developers kit) doesn't add anything directly to the function of the drone. It's just programming code that third parties can use to develop software and apps. We'll have to wait until Litchi, Dronelink, or someone else adds functionality for the Mini SE, Mini 2, and AIr 2S.

Does anyone have any information about the expected lead times from Litchi and Dronelink?

It's worth remembering that fully autonomous waypoint missions which continue without connection to the RC are illegal in some countries (like the UK) without a special waiver. It's always best to check before flight.

4.16 will support Android 12, and will release next week.

That is GitHub info, not final releases. See on the right side of that page it shows .15 as the latest and that is also the only download available in the developers forum.
