New to Litchi and looking for settings advice in both DJI Go 4 and Litchi for Waypoint Missions

Craig K..Hi from Italy. When using Litchi hub on your computer and plotting waypoints arround uneven terrain, there is now an ‘Above Ground’ check box. If you click on this, your drone will follow changes in elevation of the terrain automatically. So, if you have set an altitude of, 250 ft, your drone will stay at 250ft above the ground below the drone, and follow the changing hight of the ground. It works well;…but do make sure that you set enough AGL altitude to clear obstructions and high trees etc.

I will tell you a secret.....
Look just above the first post, and you can manually mark to watch the thread.

Ya know ive been looking for that button for bloomin ages, im sure it used to be at the bottom or when you replied

Not read through the entire thread, but the drone maxes out at 400' from take off point. However, if you are standing on top of the hill, that increases your range from however low you want to go, to 400' above take off.

You can't do this because it's a national park and banned. But for example, you could stand on the edge of a large valley type thing that's quite famous in Arizona IF YOU WERE ALLOWED TO, and fly off the edge and down to the valley floor a mile below and then back up to where you were (in theory). Obviously there are practicalities such as wind, if it has the power to rise up left in the battery and so on.

Point is rather than muck around trying to mod the drone to fly higher, just go stand on top of the hill and fly from there. Set your Litchi run to start from the high point.

No Drone maxes out at 400ft, the limit of 400ft is in the settings and can be changed to 1600ft (500m) if you want to, but then you have to take into account local laws

Understood. In the UK it seems impossible to change in the settings. I can set lower, and I can set higher but it physically won't fly above 120M no matter what the settings say.
