My friend was flying the
Phantom from a bridge and as he was coming back and got close to but just above the water the phantom lost .connection and went into
RTH . The problem was he was only 20 feet away.
It did what it was programmed
To do; land. And it did right on the water. I felt like I lost a friend. We are trying to recover
It and for the grace of God
We live in the South. And we
Are having a real warm spell.
We will keep trying until we get it.
I believe it lost connection
because the drone was about
15 feet lower then the controls
and the special antenna I installed probably was among to high.
I have read of many drones
sinking and after drying out
Flying again.I hope this will be the case.
If anyone has ever sunk one
Let me know about drying it
Out.

Salt water is probably more damaging than fresh water.
You need a big fan to move lots of air.
