Hmm, I live near to a recreation airport that used to be totally NFZ for a mile or whatever all around it which included my house. i haven't really used my drone much in the last few months but when playing with the smart controller the other day I noticed after updating the NFZ map that it wasn't a red area anymore. I launched my drone in the back garden today (went to 6 feet and landed again)which I was suprised was even possible! So if I wanted to fly it above my house, I guess I just need to call the airport on the number that is handily displayed on the google map thing linked above?? That's great news!! I have wanted to film the top of my house for ages and other than the copper chopper that airport isn't used for much after 8PM.
