I'm thinking that you're talking about version 1.5.0 of the DJI Fly app that appeared recently. I updated to it yesterday and saw no problems in a couple of flights. Nothing new other than Mavic 3 support.

Yes, that message appeared in the DJI Fly App, which id running on your phone or tablet. It's telling you there's a newer version that allows use with the new Mavic 3.
