Hi,

I am looking at buying a new drone...currently only have a Telo.

I really want a drone that are comparable with the new DJI goggles. My first thought was the Mavic Air 2 (but I have found out this isn't compatible)

I don't need the Mavic Pro 2 capability and its little out of my price range, but want something that is stable and with a good range.

Any idea or help would be greatly appreciated

Kind Regards
David

The Mavic Pro Platinum or the Mavic Air 1.

The Air 1 does NOT have Ocusync (it uses wifi like the spark).
Over water with dotted islands I was able to get 2 miles, but that was crazy, almost record setting. Range is not the strong suit on the MA1 for sure.

The MPP had autofocus issues (maybe not anymore though, I'm not sure)

No autofocus issues with my platinum. Had it for well over two years. ?

I really wouldn't make my drone purchase decision based on whether it was compatible with the DJI Goggles.
Why the need to get goggles ?

The goggles are only compatible with the older DJI technology and are old tech themselves.
You wouldn't want to invest in something that could be out of support very soon.

I'd probably spend the money on a powerful tablet instead and get a MA2 fly more combo.
Given that the DJI goggles are over 3 years since their release, DJI may bring out a new model of goggles soon and it will most probably be only compatible with the most recently released drones. e.g. MA2

You can always learn to fly a racing drone.
