Took the drone for a flight..2nd time of flying and I know I need to educate myself what this thing has to offer.

If you like that try shooting 5 exposure AEB shots and merging them into an HDR photo.
Now you're getting technical dude.... I'll take your advice on board for sure but I've had a Guinness and plenty of it (Christmas party) tonight so no doubt I'll call on you for some advice in the days/weeks/months to come....but in the mean time thanks for the info that lays ahead...very much appreciated [emoji106]
 
Reach out when you want to find out how to reveal more dynamic range. Your shadows are totally clipped and there is no definition to them.

You see how the foreground in the first picture is trees that are in shadow , but the background is much brighter and even closer to being blown out. There is a way to balance the shadows and highlights by using multiple exposure values and merging them together. AEB - Auto Exposure Bracketing.
