This is my first attempt at a serious compilation of drone footage set to music, and my recent trip to Iceland provided plenty of content to choose from! Even though I've watched this dozens of times as I worked through the editing process, I'm still in awe that I saw all these amazing locations. God's creation is breathtaking!

Thanks for watching. I welcome any constructive criticism to improve my next projects!

Great footage and well put together but the music is totally distracting. It’s okay for footage of high speed action with the drum beats but a landscape edit needs music fitting of a wide expanse and that’s slow and at times dramatic.

Bravo! Five Stars! Having been to Iceland, I am very familiar with the sites you filmed. You did a masterful job at capturing the falls, the scenery, the canyons, and grandeur of the country. The editing was crisp, timely, and well put together. The music track, in my opinion, was EPIC, because the subjects you were filming were epic as well.
I wouldn't have changed a thing about your film and you should be proud of it.

Exceptionally brilliant! Great work and for your first attempt, I would say you hit a home run first time at the plate. 😊

Hi,

The amazing scenery in Iceland lends itself to make great drone movies, but your great flying moves made it even more special. Thanks for sharing.

The only thing I would say, is if you're going to add sound, make it consistent. There were some waterfall sounds that overshadowed the music and then abruptly cut out even going into another waterfall scene and then no sound at all. In my opinion, I would have sound on at least the waterfalls, make them a consistent volume but subtle not to overshadow the music, and quickly fade out when going into a scene with no sound so it's not so abrupt. Other than that, well shot and put together.

Sound levels can be adjusted very precisely in my software (Premiere Pro). I prefer a moderate fade out, overlapping a fade-in of the sound tracks. The music sound should predominate unless the creator wishes to accentuate the waterfall or whatever other sound needs to stand out for the clip.

I agree with SkyeHigh. Great footage, but very bad choice of music.

Amazing video! Very well-flown and put together!

Excellent video and audio. You must have had a blast capturing such awesome images.
I am always nervous flying when birds are around but they didn't seem to have any issues with your drone.

Thank you all for your feedback and critiques! I do appreciate that you took time to watch and share your thoughts. There's so much to consider when editing something like this.

I love Iceland and the scenes you captured. For me the clips are too short and should stay on the final frame for a couple more seconds. And the transitions are abrupt and startling, try using dissolve or fade transitions.

Nicely done. Iceland is on the top of my list to visit. Soon hopefully. thanks for sharing. I didn't mind the music, for what it's worth.
