So I took a few flights today, I powered up the drone prior to powering up my remote, I was using a new lg tablet and after I got it connected i realized I needed to update software. As I completed it and entered the app, it came up with an error “Gimble overheated”. I realized I did not remove the gimble lock and cover... I know dumb. So I take it off and prepare for flight. I notice the pic on the tablet was jerky and pixelated. I was very concerned I had perhaps done some damage to my camera/gimble. I started a flight and at about 120 feet, the screen was completely scrambled and I could read none of my telemetry information. I had it return to Home immediately!!! I pulled the card and put it in my computer and saw that all was as it should be, crisp clear pic and gimble working 100%. I then grabbed my iPad and took another flight with no issues what so ever.
Lesson learned: cheap lg tablet cannot display in 1080p with a 30 refresh rate.
And the question: Can anyone suggest a good decent video editing software (free is great) but cheap will work too.
