In a tragic mistake of my own doing I lost my Mini 3 Pro. Unfortunately, my CareRefresh was up for renewal about a month ago with no claims, and I was told by several folks at DJI that they were no longer extending the warranty for these. I doubt I'd of gotten a replacement anyways from the looks of things. Purchasing a used one is sketchy at best and so far all I've seen are scammers. Their webstite no longer lists the pro 3 so thought about the pro 4 but they says that none are available, even refurbs, and even if I did all of the gear I have for the pro 3 will be useless.

Any recommendations for another brand/model to use. I don't want to go professional. We do volunteer disaster relief work around the country and are a very small non-profit, so funds need to be spent sparingly. (www.CalvaryRelief.com). Need obstacle avoidance. Thanks!

I don't think you are required to use the heavier battery. Can't you buy the regular weight batteries that keep the drone 249 gm.

since you have batteries for the mini 3 ,I would jump on a mini 4 pro ,from the looks of it the mini 5 pro due some time this year ,photos show a different battery set up ,consider

The fact that you do this type of flying requires a Part 107 certificate in the first place. I wouldn't worry about going over 250g as any Part 107 operation requires a registered aircraft.

Yes but I have 3 of the 3 pro ones, the controller with the screen and the controller without the screen with a tablet attachment that gives me a little bigger access brighter screen.
