No video feed on iPad mini 4 but cell works fine. Help!

Hello all, I havent flown my Mavic in a few months and I have a dedicated iPad mini 4 to use with it. We are currently on a weekend trip in Asheville, NC and I really wanted to get footage and pictures of our trip. I did all software and firmware on both the drone and iPad. When I try to fly it the DJI go 4 app says it is disconnected. I decided to try it on my smartphone which is a Honor 7x pretty cheap phone. It works fine. Obviously I would like to have my iPad but I can get by. Any suggestions on what to do?

Try a new cord or check the port in the iPad for fuzz or lint

Did. you disconnect the phone port on the left side of the RC?

That connector must be empty or unplugged when using the USB port ala iPad/tablet.
