North Jersey Fliers?

I'm in north jersey and trying to figure out where it's ok to fly? Like others have said I read state parks are illegal but what is considered a country or local park?

Hey guys, just looking to keep this thread alive and kicking. I'm located in Sparta, and I'm looking for legal spot to fly as well. From what I understand all state and local parks are not allowed including wildlife refuges. Any updated suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Hello, I'm Chris. I live in Fort Lee NJ- Bergen County, and my very first drone will arrive tomorrow. A starter drone, the DJI MINI 4K (under 250 grams). I'm 60, retired, and wanting to get into the hobby. Though I DO now understand the FAA rules, taking the TRUST test, I'm already concerned where I'm going to be able to start practicing. Certainly not intending to upset the authorities. Might anyone know of specific parks or fields allowed to fly nearest to Fort Lee NJ? Thanks!
