Commercial use of the river has, and will continue to expand. The city of Grayling will be behind the expansion.

Flock, agreed — and the river has withstood commercial use for over 100 years, but only if properly understood...the proposed fish farm on the headwaters is so wrong-headed that I just can’t understand how anyone could justify it...

I have a cabin in St Helen and ride the trails along the AuSable river. Beautiful water ( in most areas).

It's always for the same reason. Money and or power. There are no other reasons why a reasonable person would want to put the river at risk.
