Leaving the extremely loud and busy Gold Coast we sail the 240nm south to Yamba. Marie gets pretty stressed when we haven't been doing long passages for a while and this time it happened again. She felt scared, seasick and just generally unwell. The trip was pretty uneventful really and we arrived at sunrise and passed through the Yamba Bar easily. With a week of southerly winds meaning our trip further south would be on hold we decided to explore the massive Clarence river area.

Another great video Vernon.

Harwood Marine (ship builder) on the Clarence, mostly DIY or they do repairs, some building . . . and of course the A1 Pacific Hwy with the bridges . . . not sure if the old Harwood bridge is still open since the new one was built.

Google maps shows the old bridge still very much in use (< link), and the barges in place building the new one !!
Read a comment on Google maps reviews saying the old bridge still open (1 year ago comment).
