OcuSync 2.0 VideoLink System

Hi, I own a DJI Mavic 2 Pro drone. As a result of a conversation with our friends, I had a question. When I fly the drone outside, I want the video image of the drone to be recorded on a system. The system starts recording automatically when I turn on the drone. I think this system will be with an active antenna system.

My question is whether this system is on DJI OcuSync.

You could just get a Smart Controller and output the video feed via HDMI to some recording device.

Or you could just press the record button on the drone as soon as it connects to the remote and cache the video feed to the mobile device you are using or again the smart controller. This would require less overhead of course but will only record when the drone is recording.

This isn’t going to be high res video how everyou look at it but 1080p is good enough for most use cases.

I don't think even the Lightbridge receivers would go past 1080p, and more likely 720p. The remotes for the Inspire 1 had HDMI out, and the P3 remotes could be retrofitted with the HDMI board, but it was expensive at over $100.

Since the M2 can now have a primary/secondary remote, it theoretically be possible to produce an Occusync 2.0 receiver. Not sure if DJI ever made one. Might not have sold much of the Lightbridge models.
