Hi everyone,
Today, we are flying above a less known spot of the Golfe du Morbihan.
Sept-Îles, a hidden island in the Gulf of Morbihan in Brittany, is a peaceful haven attached to the municipality of Baden. Despite its misleading name [which means 'Seven Islands' in French], this enchanting site actually consists of only one island, offering visitors a unique experience of wild and preserved nature.
Connected to the mainland by a sand spit called a tombolo, the island is accessible on foot at low tide from Locmiquel. Although privately owned, walkers can walk around it using the coastal path, while respecting the premises.
The main attraction of Sept-Îles is its beautiful sunny beach, protected by a stone seawall on the eastern side. This beach offers an idyllic setting for a relaxing break, although one must remain vigilant due to currents that can be strong depending on conditions
Enjoy the flight,
Matt
