Interesting!
If they removed the anti-aliasing filters, then the photos will be a bit sharper at least. Seems like video moire can be fixed in Davinci Resolve, but using that app is a big ask for a lot of people.

yes, the removed the AL Filter. but Not everyone has the time or skills to go into post-production and manually search for specific rooftops or details with moiré effects to remove locally. Additionally, not everyone uses advanced software like DaVinci Resolve, which provides powerful tools for these corrections. Many would prefer a direct solution during shooting, rather than dealing with lengthy editing sessions to remove artifacts only in certain areas of the image.”

Surely this is simply software, and can be added via firmware update should DJI decide to do so? Processing power notwithstanding?

"Should DJI decide to do so" being a different issue and conversation...

Search on Google how Sony solved the issue of the absence of the anti-aliasing filter, and you’ll find the answer"
sensor with high pixel density
software dedicated in Bionz CPU Unit
etc..

That’s a plus for drone photographers. I’m sure it’s from prior feedback of images coming out soft.

At least moire is correctable. Not much different from processing RAW photos in Lightroom. Similar kind of effort.

People ask for a pro-level drone, then you should be able to use pro-level editing software, IMO.

It’s one thing to remove moiré from a single photo, but it’s a completely different challenge to remove it from a 30 frames-per-second video that constantly changes angles and characteristics. You’ll find very few videos on YouTube that manage to solve this problem.
