Is it ok to carry drone with open legs in foam case?

Can't think of any reason why that wouldn't be fine. And it means a) no stress on the cables running from body to motors and b) no having to wrestle with silly propeller straps to stop them flopping about ! Yep, that's full of win !

Yep! And that'll make setting up and tearing down a bit faster too.

It also eliminates the stress exerted on the legs of deploying and storing, which is a plus. Yeah, it makes the case a lot larger but in most situations, that probably won't matter.

If I could find a case like that for my Drone it would be great! Probably would save wear and tear on the- Arms.

Not a concern at all. DJI had that part of the system figured out years ago.

Yeah it was a very minor point, and I am aware DJI has a very robust system there for avoiding cable wear at the joints.
But those will last even longer if they never flex !

Ok, thank you all. I needed 2nd opinion. Its TOM CASE. They have several option and models.
Ps. I still think it is legs since it just stands on those and not trying to grab so its like a dog. Dog has 4 legs.

Guess it just sits in the foam. Even in those "muzzle-sling" its not 100% fixed, the gimbal still can shake a little. So my guess is that the foam is ok.

There is a small section of softer foam toward the front of the drone cutout to cushion the camera/gimbal:




Another option might be to use a low profile gimbal cover like this SunnyLife gimbal protector:

Absolutely... I have similar setup and I can't remember the last time I had to fold up the arms. Its great for quick setups...
