Orange bars / lines in DJI Fly app

When using the DJI Fly app, I notice orange bars or lines on the top and the bottom of the screen. I see these lines also on youtube vids by people using the DJI Fly app. What are those orange lines? See the screenshots top and bottom of the screen.

They tell you in which direction an object is being detected

I'm sure it is.

Gee, DJI is oversimplifying notifications with this new app. In Go app, it's two sectional curves with each section color coded to better show the direction of the obstacle, as well as an indication of distance from the obstacle.

The future M3 better not be like this.

Not as far as I can see. But the6 do get a sort of mention during the initial active guide on the Fly app

I've read the manual again and it isn't mentioned. How to interpret these lines?

The bars denote the direction in which the MA2 has detected an obstruction - top = in front, bottom = behind.

Not difficult ?
