Goldilocks conditions for shooting out there. Waves high enough to keep everyone off of the basalt shelf but not so high they cover the shelf. Not all that windy from what I could see with the wave sprays. There are occasions out there where the winds are strong enough to splatter your drone into the cliffs on the other side of US101. My drone stays in its case on days like that.

Very cool! Thors well is on the list. Only minutes south of me. There is an optimal time and tide to get this shot, but I am not sure what/when that is.
