Hello folks. New to droning here. I've been having some fun with my Air 3, and getting some impressive videos. However after watching a number of YT videos I noticed something. In some of the videos, the on screen display is present in the recording. In my video, I just get the footage. How do I capture the OSD overlayed on my videos?

If you are asking about something that looks like this:

That's generated by the app.
It's a subtitle file (.srt) and if you play the video from a folder that also contains the relevant .srt file, it will play along with the video (if the player software supports this function).

I meant the actual hud info as presented on the controller while in flight. Like in this guy's video.

Ahh..
I've found this YT video that shows how to get screen recordings from the RC2 controller, without having to use your phone. I thought I'd post it here in case anyone else has this question in the future.

So I recently got a new micro SD card for the RC 2. It's 1.5 T, but the controller says it's incompatible please insert "high speed" micro SD. This card 150 mb/sec. So what exactly is "High speed" in order to satisfy the controllers requirements..?

I usually stream my flights to youtube. So that others can watch it if needed and I also don't need to fiddle with getting recordings off the cards. It's saved automatically in my youtube profile so thats very convenient, except when I don't have coverage or the bandwith is not sufficient I have to reside to SD card.

You can record the screen of your RC2 if you want the hud and telemetry.

Keep in mind though, that the maximum resolution the RC2 receives from the drone is 1080p 60fps, and that will be dramatically reduced if you don’t have a full, clean signal, since the lower the signal strength, the lower the transmitted video quality will be (the bitrate of the transmitted video keeps getting reduced to maintain at least a 30fps frame rate so the pilot can still be able to view the feed and control the craft).

Regarding the 1.5TB microSD, that is too high capacity for the RC2. I believe the maximum capacity you can use with the RC2 is 512GB. For the RC2, any card will work as the maximum write rate needed will be when recording the screen, which won’t be more than a couple of MB/s, so any card will do as long as it’s not the oldest and absolute slowest card you have laying around.
