Thank you. I took a look at the link you provided. I found it interesting that many places, like supermarket and dentist, are written in English.

Well,due to the Syrian refugee crisis of 2015, a lot of refugees came here at Lesvos and also many people from abroad work at NGOs. So a lot of signs are now written in english so everybody can understand.

It is estimated that at least 1/3 of all the refugees from Syria came here and left for Central Europe. I think the number is around 2 million.
