Hello, I'm going to torture you a little more. I recently found a lost Mavic 3. The drone works, just the cameras got wet and there are stains inside between the lenses. They cannot be cleaned.

I found replacement cameras together for about €340. Do you think I shouldn't even try to exchange it, since it will require pairing with the drone? I could theoretically change it at home, and give it to someone who has software to pair it.
Of course, the whole point is to save some €....

I just found an older topic that it doesn't work without dji software. So it's probably pointless to deal with it any further.

But if anyone has any ideas...

If it was lost it should be bricked. If you want to save money Don't mess with it. You could send it for repair BUT if someone turned it in as lost and got it replaced DJI will see that and keep the Drone.
It's my drone that I lost three months ago.

I believe that would require DJIs proprietary software to pair another camera to the board. If you can replace the camera, you could possibly find an authorized DJI repair center to pair the new camera. I would call first to see if that is something they would do for you.

Yes, exactly such a procedure occurred to me as well. I have already sent emails to two service centers. I am waiting for answers.

So the service centers in our country can't do it and send drones with a similar problem to Hungary.

So the question is, change the camera yourself and send it to dji. And hope that they are only sparring. Or don't change it at all and send it to them to fix it. Which will probably be priced as they have it in the tables around €500 per camera.

If you know what you are doing and don't mind paying for the pairing service you should do it yourself. Just remember you are voiding any warranty and if you make a mistake as you put it back together the money you would have saved is gone plus you have to pay more. I would send it in unless you have a basic electronics background and are confident that you can do it..

You made me happy. I have taken the current camera apart several times and put it back together for cleaning and everything works. Just one lens is made of plastic on the telecamera, and I couldn't clean it here. It's all extremely sensitive to discuss. Replacing the entire camera is not that difficult.

So are you sure that DJI would only do pairing and not change the camera? I don't mind paying for steaming services because there is probably no other option.

Dji will take your Drone and shred it...They will charge you for whatever the price of the repair is (gimbals and cameras are expensive!!!!) and then they will send you a new refurbished Drone. The drone you send them is gone.
Pay the service its cheaper than DJI around 100 U.S. for the pairing.

That's fine if I'm only charged for pairing and diagnostics.

(I didn't quite understand this)-"Pay the service its cheaper than DJI around 100 U.S. for the pairing."
Pairing price is less than 100USD?

DJI will not just pair your new camera You need to be an authorized service center for that to happen. And a service center will not pair a DIY repair. There are sites online that have clones of the software DJI uses to do it. its called RepairTool. The online services will charge you around 100 bucks to pair your new camera NOTE: you have to give them access to your P.C.

And if I send the drone with already replaced cameras to an authorized DJI center, will they pair it for me there?

I don't like the unofficial version, especially when it comes to accessing my PC.

No DJI will not do that unless they did the installation themselves . DJI will charge you the price of the new gimbal and repairs (probably the price of the Drone) and simply ship you a new Drone. Dji Service centers are not allowed to ship drones that have been repaired by anyone else.

I forgot to add DJI authorized service centers only work on Enterprise model drones repairwise.

Well, the enthusiasm is gone...
