Wife and I flew up to Alaska over the weekend for our nephew's wedding. Brought my new M2P with me, had a little time to play with it. I've only had it about 10 days so still getting acquainted with it but still pretty happy with the results.

Nice! I loved flying in Alaska! Gotta stay on guard for float planes as they are everywhere!

Just curious how you were able to fly near prison and Palmer airport? Check the location of Palmer Water Tank. Palmer does not have LAANC according to the FAA list.

The "prison" is a pre-trial holding facility on the property of the Alaska State Troopers barracks, I did not overly it, I stayed at least 100 feet horizontally away from the NFZ and the NFZ for it is rather tiny and easily avoided. As for the airport without LAANC you can still get the okay manually, it is a little more difficult unless you know the correct people and I was able to do so.
However FWIW Kitty Hawk/B4UFly shows it as a "Good To Go" area. I took a screenshot of it just for reference.
