Hi guys,

i was wondering why my mavic air doesn't take panoramas sometimes.
I can't figure out why this happens.
Last time i was flying i used "sport mode" maybe it's caused there?

Max altitude set to: 120m
Actual altitude: ~100m
Remaining battery: ~ 50%
GPS: OK
Statusbar: (stays) Green - No System errors shown
Storage: Tested intern & tested with SD card (doesn't matter)

Timeline (what happened):
* Started mavic in FCC mode.
* Takeoff
* Switched to Sport mode
* Flew around, taking some pictures & vids
* Switched to Panorama mode (vertical in this case)
* Try to take the shot.
* Button on the phone turns little bit gray

Now the system is like stuck.
Can't switch back to video, but can change the photo mode (single, panorama etc.) -> BUT: button stays grayed out and can't take any new shots.

Fix: Restart the UAV.

Next try: Same behaviour

I will try again tomorrow (but without Sports mode - issue might be in sports mode?)

Anybody else noticed something similar?

I have had this happen many times. It is a FW bug with the Air.
The Spark will not let you shoot a pano in S mode, but simply sends a warning "Shooting not currently permitted" but when switching back to P mode it will work.
The Air gets stuck if you try it and only way out is to land and reboot. Hopefully the next FW update will fix this.

I experienced the same issue but I had the APAS (Advanced Pilot Assistance System) on. Turned it off and it worked fine. Look for the APAS button on the main screen left side.

So.. For current FW version: always shoot panorama in P mode - right?

Yes. Plus, when a pano is finished shooting wait until the message "Panorama successful' is gone before doing anything, or it will say pano failed - interrupted and deleted.
Tested it again with P mode. No issues.
Thanks for all your feedback and input.

Hopefully we'll get an update soon :)
