Rainbow Lorikeets, a very common around much of the Australian coast, but especially in the South-East Queensland region.

Does the OP record sound ?
I imagine so . . . maybe @anzacjack can edit a little footage with delicate sounds these birds make ??

It does record sound. Haha, not sure about “delicate’ but I’ll record some. No sound in the above footage as it was slowed down. I grab another shot during feeding time in the morning. We have dozens of them come in each day.
They have a funny hierarchy. There are two birds that live in our tree and have claim they always eat first and never allow the others down to share. They just all sit up in the branches and watch. Once our pair have finished, they send out the “ok” and then the masses come down to feed. It’s amazing to watch

Yeah I think it'd be fun for people unfamiliar with these birds to hear the ruckus at feeding time
They are incredible to experience when grouping to feed.
