The FAA continues to move toward integration of drones into the Federal Airspace system. They are accepting and including responsible drown usage as a legitimate form of aviation.
I have been flying since 1968 as a private pilot, mostly in Class E airspace (what class G is to drone pilots, class E is to private pilots). There is plenty of room for peaceful coexistence and I believe they will get there.
I suspect that while 'recreational' pilots will continue to experience a shrinkage of options to fly, part 107 pilots will experience expanded privileges. My 2c.
