Payload limit?

I have an idea to make a thermal camera and the drone would weight about 120g extra.

Would that be a problem to fly with?

I red somewhere that that a guy could not fly higher than 5 meters and like 30m away when he adderad weight to the drone, coukd this happen and if so, what is that limit?

whenever the mini goes into payload mode which limits how high and how far away it can travel, most version will allow you to go into the menu and turn off payload mode and go back to flying normally.

I have a Mini 3. You can turn off "payload mode" if it turns on. I'm not sure what the maximum payload would be though. I know it turn on automatically if the prop guards are installed.

You mean per cycle? Or the battery life-time will decrease by 30% overall?

Flight time takes 30% more battery power with 120g payload . You also need to balance payload around CG (if possible)
