Got a really weird set of notifications yesterday when flying my 4k for the first time in a couple of months. The first was the Payload Mode Detected and it limited my height and distance. There's nothing on the drone other than the battery and a couple of ID stickers. It didn't do this before. When I landed and restarted everything it went away so I flew up and down the street at around 150 feet. When coming down for landing it hit 100 feet and said that the max altitude was reached and it was in payload mode. Again, nothing on the drone.

Another odd error was when I was about 800 feet away I got a "Propeller Guard Detection" and adjusted my speed to a slower speed. Not using Propeller guards. Anyone else have this issue?

I used to get that a lot on my mini drones (not m3p), pretty annoying. I chalked it up to the drone not being sophisticated and the props not being the best, maybe overly sensitive. You should be able to go into the settings and turn off payload mode but it will probably come on (automatically) again eventually. The good news is once you are beyond the limited range, it won't block you until you can back and try to go out again.

It is most likely an out of balance or damaged prop. examine your props for any nicks or damage if you see none start one by one replacing props.
