I went to Love Park and took off from there. It was also at 6am on a Sunday and could park right on the side of the park. I am planning to go over there again soon to get more shots. I’ve been told the best take off spot is the convention center parking garage.

Ill be honest it’s kind of hard flying there between the winds and the height of the buildings but it can be done.
