Photo Origination and Storage

Creating this thread and I hope many will participate.

At the moment, here is the problem.

Many pictures and videos. Looking for something that my wife can use on her mac laptop. Sort and categorize them?

I have retrieved a lot of photos from window base hard drives. Scanned photos, phone photos, etc.
Maybe close to 10,000 and 500 gig.

I have no problem networking in the windows world.
I can setup shared drives so the Mac laptop doesn't have store them.
That should fix any storage problems, I think.

It comes down to what software should she use for a mac.

Sorry I got in a hurry obviously, it doesn't' matter since it is Adobe.

Many MAC users use Final Cut Pro X or DaVinci Resolve for video editing. Adobe Photoshop is widely used for photo editing.
