Photos aren't shooting in 12MP

Hi everyone,
When I shoot my photos in raw and upload them into photoshop, it says they are shot in 9MP. Why is this? Should it not be 12MP?

The files are in megabytes and the photos are in megapixels if i am correct! not equal to each other

The RAW photo files should be 20-25MB from the Mavic. Make sure you're shooting in 4:3 resolution to use the full sensor.

Are you taking the full-quality original photos from the drone's microSD card? Anything sent to the phone/tablet during your flight is just a preview-quality cache.

I am shooting 16.9. I will try 4:3 and see what that does.

I am also shooting raw and taking them from the SD card.
