I need to pick someone's brains on this issue.
I have a 5 year old (uncrashed) Mavic Pro, and the camera focus is proving to be the bane of my life.. It will auto focus and manually focus in the DJI GO4 app, but when I fly waypoint missions in Litchi, even in manual focus, it goes out of focus. There is an error message along the lines of this process has timed out if I try and focus when flying with Litchi. The IMU and Gimbal have been calibrated in GO4.
I never liked the focus feature, and now I'd like to disable it completely by locking the focus at c.5 metres, which should allow a decent focal range at fixed focus.
Can anyone give me some guidance on doing this, presumably there is an internal focus ring on the lens, that I could lock (glue?) once I get the focus where I want it.
Thanks in advance.
