Pitch-axis Folding Cover, what is it?

Currently having repair done on the mavic. Story is, first flight went to a baseball field to fly and it was chained off. So i flew in the areas next to it, bad idea. Anyway, somehow i'm covered under warranty and it says the part is Pitch-axis Folding Cover. Does anyone know what this is?
