Plastic part broke on gimble (what does it do)

Looks like the little bit of plastic thag attachs to the rubber has broke on the left hand side, what does it do any where can i get it replaced. Cheers

Those are gimbal dampeners or shock absorbers, and they are critical to the performance of the gimbal. I would not fly with that damage, as it may result in further damage to the gimbal. DJI is a good resource for UAV repair. You will probably get a refurbished unit back from them rather than the actual unit you send them, but their repair service is reasonable. There are also private repair businesses that will repair your unit and return it to you, but I have no experience with any particular service to recommend one.

I also have to ask, how did that happen?

fell in its case on the floor and the gimble protector split and a bit of plastic sheered it i think. Its been repaired at drone doctor in the uk which is a authorised dji repairer. Thanks for the info
