Please Help! Air 2 Will Not Connect!

Hi all,

Please could someone help me?
My Mavic air 2 has been working perfectly until I didn’t use it for about three months. I went to start it up the other day and the remote would not connect to the aircraft at all.
I think this was after a firmware update but I’ve tried absolutely everything to try and get it to connect including re- flashing the firmware using Assistant on both the aircraft and the remote, re-downloading the app and contacting DJI who have said that I must send in the unit to get repaired. Also tried different cables.

I don’t understand what could’ve possibly changed as it lives in a pelican case and has not been touched since it was last working perfectly.
Even when I put the aircraft and remote in pairing mode, it’s still times out and nothing changes.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

This is very likely due to that FW update...

If you're sure that both the drone & RC are on the latest FW (incompatibility between these 2 usually leads to that you can't pair) & you have handled the linking process correctly as per below...

... and it still fails, the only thing that remains is to send it in to DJI.

There really is nothing you can do beyond connecting each to your computer and running the appropriate DJI Assistant version. For all of my drones that is DJI Assistant 2 Consumer Drone series but I'm not sure if that correct for your. If that doesn't do the trick you will indeed have to send it in as far as I can tell.
