Polarpro Vivid NDPL. How to use them correctly?

I have the Polarpro Vivid 4 NDPL 8NDPL and16NDPL.
Screw on the filter. Power on Mavic air. Is it then safe to turn the filter to get most/best Porarization? What about the gimball?

And If you have wrong filter on. Do I have to turn Mavic off to put on a different filter?
Tried the Polerpro app. But you have to turn on the Mavic air before you can use the Polarpro app because you need to see the shutterspeed. When you know the shutterspeed, then you can find the stops without the app.

Does rotating the filter actually change the glare in the shot? If not, they might be circularly polarised, in which case just screw them on all the way; you get no fine tuning with them.

If your hands are steady enough to screw the filters on and off without the gimbal trying to fight you, then go for it. Also applies to rotating the filter for polarisation.

Yes.

That would be safest.
