I have just received an second hand but unactivated Mavic 2 Zoom.
I haven't had a 'new' drone before but it certainly needed activating and there were all sorts of untouched stickers on it that look like those seen on youtube videos so I am quite willing to believe that it is an 'old' but genuinely unused drone.
My concern lies with the gimbal, when unpowered it seems to want to point the camera 'downwards', as in towards the underside of the drone. It does this irrespective of whether the drone is the correct way up or on its back so it is not an out of balance camera CofG.
I have previously borrowed a Mavic 2 Zoom and its camera had no preferential orientation when unpowered ie it sat wherever it was or wherever it was moved to etc.
Actually, whilst looking for a video of stickers I came across the following video and the drone in that seems to have this 'pointing downwards' trait.
the relevant bit starts around 9-30.
Is this something to be concerned about?
Thanks
