Spent the evening updating the firmware on the MA2. Had a problem, this was my fix.
Firmware update requires everything to be turned on. i.e. the control transmitter. This device transmits on the 2.4GHz band, the same as your home wifi. If you are too far away from your wifi transmitter the MA2 transmitter will corrupt your wifi signal and the updates will fail.
Solution, move the MA2 transmitter & phone closer to your home wifi transmitter. Signal will be stronger and the update will proceed.
