Post vibration plate repair issues

Had crash broke vibration plate, camera still worked after crash so I just ordered new vibration plate assembly. Post repair it goes to hove position and the quicky drifts right and camera not working, vision sensor error comes on screen.

Probably 2 separate problems.

Make sure you have both ribbon cables plugged in to the gimbal PCB. They should snap in.

Are you getting video? Does the gimbal calibrate?

No pic at all, will take it apart again tomorrow to make sue all plugged in

Ok took it apart, sure enough ribbons not fully snapped in place. Picture is fine and I seem to have good control with short flight around the house. Do the camera rotate side to side also or just from straight pivoting down to ground . In other words if drone was facing me can the camera be moved to left or right without turning drone.

Yes it moves but only a very little. It's called gimbal yaw, and it helps stabilize the picture. If you move the left stick while the drone is on the table, you can see the gimbal move a little.
