Hi, I assume that the RC will charge the Ipad... ? If I connect a powerbank to the RC during flight will it then charge both RC and Ipad?

I wouldn't try to charge/discharge at the same time; in fact, many devices won't allow it.
It would help if you included your drone type in your sig (or something).

it states somewhere i read it will charge whatever you plug into it, on the android version they don't have a button where you can switch this off. but for iphones and i presume ipad there is an extra option in the fly ap that allows you to enable and disable this function.

The M2p controller cannot charge an iPad not enough current. It tries but it can’t.

The reason you can turn off charging only with iOS is because iOS provides an API that allows apps to control charging.

Android doesn't natively provide that to apps. It can be controlled if the phone is rooted, and some manufacturers have added it but DJI has to go by what's commonly available.

The problem with that is that the Mini2 uses USB C, and as I said with regards to Mini 1, you don't want to backflow power into the RC while it is set to push power out.

What might work though and won't chance damage to RC is sever the power leads from RC to mobile, and feed power from the powerbank into the mobile only.

If you want to charge the RC while flying, you could try placing charge power into the USB C port normally used for charging the RC. Won't increase power sent from RC to mobile though.
