Looks like the sun just came up, (not even 8am there yet).
I'd be guessing there was tons of folks by noon, (I would be out there for sure)

It was sunrise, but the beaches in Fort Lauderdale are closed due to covid-19.

the cops weren’t looking for me, they just seem to enjoy cruising up/down the empty beach every now and again. i imagine they typically have to crawl at a snails pace due to crowds so it is probably fun to cruise at high speed now that they have the opportunity to do so.

the life guards still seem to come to work everyday even though nobody is allowed on the beach. There are also cops all up/down the strip enforcing the no trespass order.
