Preview pictures on iPhone

Moving from Mavic Pro + DJI Go 4 to Mavic Air 2s + DJI Fly.
Same iPhone.
Why can't I see picture previews in the app gallery, or in the camera roll?
I see videos synced to the gallery, but no pictures.
Why is that so?

I refer to photos altogether.
I can see the video previews, but no photos appear on my phone, either on DJI Fly gallery or on the phone camera roll.
