Had not flown my Mavic pro in quite a while...Weather here..NYC has been terrible for flying (and other things) ...took it for a ride in the park and i wasn't aware of the wind conditions...it is a bright day...temps in the upper 40's...i get to the park and i am in a cyclone...gusting Blustery wind from the SW...was in fear of going too high,BUT i put it through its paces and i wanted to see how it did in this wind..Happy to say that it Hung and held position very well..it was shaky but stood its ground...i dared not to go higher that 100 ft but for 20 minutes it played in the wind with holding steady...SOLID PRO performance...Can't wait for another day like today MINUS the bloody wind !

I can't emphasize this enough, install UAV Forecast. You'll be amazed at how wind conditions change as altitude goes up. Blustery and windy on the ground might be 70mph at a couple hundred feet. Your drone would be history quick in that wind.
