Rubber band wrapped on the length and attached to gimbal cover. This was recommended by another post and works for me. Low tech, cheap, and a reminder to remove my gimbal cover.

I use a rubber band from newspaper. it works fine for me. no extra cost

I use the 1/2” tiedown velcro strip wrapped around from front to back and just tuck in the props. Fits in the case with no problem.
