Hi,

When replacing my propellers, I noticed that one of the propeller mounts (see picture) was giving me trouble. I had some difficulty screwing it in. I tried vacuuming and cleaning out the space, and eventually managed to screw it in with a lot of force. Now I'm worried about the next time I need to replace the propellers, as I can already see that when trying to unscrew it, it just turns indefinitely. I've already nicked it...

Has anyone else had the same issue before?

Hi, I had the same problem with my mini 3 pro. The first time I tried to remove the props one screw was cross threaded from the factory. I was able to get it replaced through warranty.

Sounds like you cross threaded the screw. You need to replace the motor now. That prop will just fly off in flight.

I did a test flight and it was fine. Do you mean that it will eventually fly off , like later ?
I think there is great potential for that yes. If you cannot unscrew it, there are no threads left for the screw to bite into. In essence, you drilled the threads out of the motor prop mount shaft. The screw should just be able to pull straight out without adequate threads. I think it is a big risk to fly it.
