Came across some warning signs that might help others re timely replacement of MA propellors. After getting an engine speed warning that caused MA to falter in air i found the rear engine mount to be exceedingly hot. I'd also noticed recently an increase in engine noise as well as the MA nose diving slightly on takeoff. Since installing a new set of propellors all symptoms have disappeared i.e. no speed warnings, smoother takeoff and quieter engine noise. It appears my MA props needed replacing. I've done probably about 100 + flights over a 12 month period. Litchy76.

Wow thx only just noticed in taking photos that there is a chunk missing from tip of one prop - weird as no prangs - just shows how important a pre flight is cheers View attachment 80840
The other clue that there may be an issue with what keeps your camera in the air is the odd color at the ends of the “blades”. I’ll use that term in this case, as they seem to be cutting some grass.
Just a reminder. If they are cutting anything other than air, something isn’t quite right. The ma does sit a bit low to the ground, but not a good idea to park it in an area that’s not clear for the props.

Thx yes some contact with grass, had been using extended legs but lost one in Scotland will certainly be checking more regularly Cheers
